All living rooms at The Top House have gorgeous views of Lake Taupo. They provide generous and elegant areas for entertaining, with the main living room leading out to decks both front and back of the house. In winter a fire can be lit to complement the heat pumps and add a welcome atmosphere. For those sports fanatics who would prefer to catch the “game” on satellite television they can still feel part of the gathering at the other end of the room, or retreat downstairs for a more concentrated viewing in the games room. And if you do have to work — we have broadband internet access.

The contemporary kitchen includes dishwasher, double ovens, quality crockery, cutlery and glassware, tablemats, microwave etc. The living room has satellite digital television, a stereo, and video player. (Check out our recommendations for catering.)

Downstairs is a second, large living room which looks out over the bush to the lake. Children can spread out in the games room which features DVD player, satellite TV, stereo and billard table.
In summer you may prefer to entertain outside.
